This is what we woke up to this morning here in Alaska.

Denali Road Lottery

Jerry and I won the Denali Road Lottery. Only 400 people were allowed to drive the 92 miles of road into the park. We stayed at the McKinley Chalet.

We saw 1 Porcupine

This bull was chasing 2 cows. We saw 3 bulls and 2 cows.

Grizzley Bear: we saw 6 Grizzleys

The scenery was breathtaking.

The boys thought these skulls were neat. The two bulls were locked together in a fight. Their antlers were literally locked together. One bull's antler speared the other's eye which killed it. Unfortunately, since they were locked together, the surviving bull couldn't get away. They died locked together.

We saw this Mama and baby on the way to Seth's school. He is young. I am not sure how old, but his antlers don't have paddles.
